About The ONLY in JAPAN Fireworks Festival

In 2020, Japan cancelled nearly every fireworks events across the country due to the pandemic. As someone who loves Japanese festivals especially “Hanabitaikai” events, large scale fireworks competitions around the country, I decided to bring it back. With the help of the amazing ONLY in JAPAN community, we raised nearly $60,000 for 2 fireworks events in Omagari, Akita and Katakai, Niigata! In 2021, we did it again Nagano.

These events brought so much joy and positivity to these communities in Japan and we were so honored and thankful to our own community that we were able to bring fireworks and smiles during a time when they were most needed.

This empty firework shell was created in Katakai alongside the live fireworks that were created for the ONLY in JAPAN Fireworks Festival and for the first time ever is being made available to you, our community, to display in your home!
